First time to Sri Lanka & what an adventure being there at festival season!
It was supposed to be a three-girl hen's trip for Tza but one of us got preggers & couldn't make it! The two of us decided to go ahead anyway because the time of year couldn't have been better - the weather was ideal for climbing Adam's Peak & it was also Vesak Day there so we got to soak in all the festivities. What a beautiful place...will be back!
This park in often held to be the very best place in the world to see wild Leopards. However, there is considerably more magnificent wildlife to be seen in this park than the beautiful Leopard. Indeed, the Bird life alone is amazing.
